Sacred Song & Prayer Fundraiser for Palestine at St Anne’s Church Hall, St Leonard’s Road
Recommended donation £10/£15

A event on Saturday 29th November. The event starts at 19:30.

This will be the fourth in a series of fundraisers we’ve held in support of Palestine.

We are a community of friends who meet regularly to share devotional song and prayer and we are opening this up to the public.

Songs will be led by musicians Kat Drake and Poppy Villieriez and you are welcome to join in or just listen.

There will also be a short grief ritual led by Pablo Villieriez.

To book: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sacred-song-fundraiser-for-palestine-tickets-1820426557839?aff=oddtdtcreator

Doors will open at 7 for a 7.30 pm start.

There will be tea and cakes to buy so please bring cash.

All proceeds will go to the Amos Trust whose Palestinian partners run community programmes to promote creative, non-violent resistance to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza — and work to relieve the stress and despair that the occupation causes within these communities.

They seek to share their stories, stand with them in their suffering and support the work they do — raising awareness of the horrors of home demolitions, the building of the Separation Wall, restrictions on freedom of movement and the daily impact of life under occupation.

All are welcome.
