Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club: Valentines Special at St Anne's House (BS4)

A event on Thursday 29th January. The event starts at 19:30.

Friendly Neighbourhood Films is back at St Anne's House on Thursday 29th January! A New Year, and a new selection of cute and cosy films to bring us together, to relax and enjoy some iconic movie moments with friends both new and old!

This time, we are holding a very special Valentines/ Pal-entines edition... We will be watching the epic romantic comedy of 2010 Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, featuring the universally beloved Micheal Cera as Scott Pilgrim, on his heroic quest to defeat the ex-boyfriends and win the heart of our favourite manic pixie dream girl Ramona Flowers. Expect legendary duels, surreal wintery scenes and charmingly awkward romantic tension. Bring your loved ones and your friends, and enjoy a chatty debrief to round off the night.

As a bass guitarist for a not so famous indie rock band, Scott Pilgrim has never had trouble getting a girlfriend though usually the problem is getting rid of them. But when Ramona Flowers skates into his heart, he finds she has the most troublesome baggage of all, an army of ex-boyfriends who will stop at nothing to eliminate him from her list of suitors. Featuring stars like Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin and Alison Brie and music from bands like Metric, we are looking forward to welcoming you to this hilarious, 8-bit inspired film night.
