An event on Saturday 26th September. The event starts at 10:00.
A low-demand, high-comfort creative workshop designed for diverse minds.
"Grow From Where You Are" invites you to a safe, structured space to pause, regulate your nervous system, and explore self-expression on your own terms.

Hosted by qualified, HCPC-registered Art Therapists Hal Camplin and Katie Ford, this event is designed to be deeply inclusive of neurodivergent adults (including ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD, and those experiencing tech/creative burnout). There is zero pressure to socialize, no forced eye contact, and absolutely no artistic skill needed. Art therapy is about the sensory and tactile process of making, not creating "perfect" art.

OUR VALUES IN ACTION
We built this project to accommodate diverse minds, communication styles, and energy levels:
* Inclusiveness & Communication: Participate your way. Speak, stay quiet, mask or unmask—share as much or as little as you feel up to.\
* Humour & Playfulness: An invitation to drop the social mask and enjoy relaxing, tactile, DIY art-making.\
* Curiosity & Creativity: Explore your inner world at your own pace using art as a non-verbal tool for emotional processing.\
* Compassion & Connection: Enjoy the parallel energy of a shared group environment without the pressure of forced small talk.\
* Courage: A gentle, non-judgmental space to slow down if you are experiencing burnout, overwhelm, or sensory fatigue. SENSORY & CREATIVE OPTIONS TO EXPECT
We provide a clear structure with total freedom of choice. You can explore 5 different ways to interact with materials:\
* Tactile Clay & Cardboard: Hands-on, flexible sculpting perfect for heavy work and sensory regulation.\
* Bilateral Drawing: Rhythmic, two-handed scribbling (with or without music) to soothe and balance the nervous system.\
* Collage & Visual Mandalas: Using structured repetition, patterns, and ready-made imagery to process inner thoughts into quiet peace.\
* Flexible Autonomy: Use the time for quiet mindfulness, deep emotional outlet, or to ask questions about the art therapy profession. You control your direction.\
* Keep Your Work: Anything you create is yours to take home. For each session we will pick a couple to explore...
