‘Babealicious’ is the new moniker of Bristol based producer/singer Seb Waters. In this project, Waters delves deep into his love for electronic music, honouring his forefathers including Arthur Russell, Mr Ozio, Erika de Casier, ML Buch, A.G Cook, Easter and Jamie XX. His foundational influence of trip-hop shines, there’s a nod to the ambient, and as always, a distinctive knack for melody sits proudly at these songs’ forefront. Voice is used, straying away from silky smooth RnB, and towards an experimental use of his recently lower range.
