Come and screen-print your own GROSS carrier bag with Conway & Young (bring your own 2 used plastic carrier bags, drop-in, no prior experience necessary, children welcome) ---- ABOUT CONWAY & YOUNG Established in 2006 by Jen Conway and Jessy Young. We take a collaborative approach to commissioned and self-initiated projects and are motivated by art and design’s critical, social, civic and political potential. Art, graphic design, research, consultancy and education ---- ABOUT TRANSACTIONLAND It’s shopping, but not as you know it! Call in at Transactionland, a thoroughly unusual out-of-town retail emporium at Bricks, St Anne’s House. From 9th-20th March 2022, Transactionland will be open for a bit of browsing and a spot of shoplifting. Artist-turned-shopkeeper Rachael Clerke will be hosting workshops, performance, discussion and doughnuts at Bristol’s newest shopping destination. Full programme available soon at transaction.land Shop open 12-6.30pm, Wednesday to Sunday + selected evenings (see programme). Transactionland is supported by Arts Council England Project Grants, Bricks, Bristol City Council, and the 2021 Situations Award.
