ABOUT
The doors of St Anne’s House will open this April for the first official Open Studios evening.
We are looking forward to welcoming you into the space that’s been in a transition of growth and change since September 2021. With over 70 tenants, the Spring Thing: Night Event will be a chance to view and explore the variety of practices and art studios of Bristol-based makers, painters, printers, and graphic designers.

WHAT'S ON?
Home to collectives such as EBC Day School, Mayk and Bristol Co-operative Gym the event will be a chance to talk to the tenants here about their current and future work.

Our Artist Development programme runs from St Anne’s House, where selected artists have the opportunity to test their ideas in our Project Space, the current resident is Jonathan Kelham with Super Duper St Anne’s F.C. During the Spring Thing: Night Event, Kelham will be hosting one of his Foosball Tournament as part of his current project exploring the history and importance of local football clubs in an area, through fiction, fantasy, humour and playfulness.

You can also learn more about the history of St Anne’s House and a bit about the surrounding area through our Community-Led project Gather St Anne’s. A wall exhibition designed by StudioMothership, looking into the archive of the rich history and changes of the area.

Our tenant led exhibition Curio, produced by Ben Hartley will be available to see in our foyer area, located in an old Vitrine. Curio is an on-going series of artist showcases within this unique and particular setting.

For the event a bar and homemade pizza station will be available, for everyone to tuck into and enjoy.
