Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club Presents: Clueless at St Anne's House
See event details

A event on Thursday 26th February. The event starts at 19:00.

A New Year, and a new selection of cute and cosy films to bring us together, to relax and enjoy some iconic movie moments with friends both new and old! As if! This month we are totally bringing you one of the sickest, most fly movies of the 90s! Starring Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy and Paul Rudd we are so, like, excited to bring you a screening of the 1995 classic, ‘Clueless’! Join us in the Valley and expect some of the best clothes in modern cinema, makeovers and a hint of Jane Austen. Set in Beverly Hills amid the shallow and rich, Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of the pecking order at her high school. After matchmaking two of her teachers, and riding high on the success, Cher decides to give hopeless new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. But when Tai becomes more popular than Cher herself, Cher realises that not only was her disapproving ex-step brother right about how misguided she is, she also realises he might be kinda cute. So, get ready for cosiness, lovely refreshments (popcorn to be expected) and giggles, and join the Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club once again for a great screening. Plaid, 90s attire and generally your best fashion are totally encouraged! About Friendly Neighbourhood Films: Friendly Neighbourhood Films is a relaxed, social film club and collaborative project by curators and creative producers Dáire Carson and Alison Jones, hosted at St Anne’s House.
