Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club Presents: Frances Ha at St Anne's House

A event on Wednesday 25th March. The event starts at 19:00.

The Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club is back at St Anne's House, this time on Wednesday 25th March! We are doing things a little differently this time around, and collaborating with Fra Beecher and Anastasia Dahl to bring you a film screening combined with a movement and drawing workshop, all inspired by the film Frances Ha.

Drawing + Movement Workshop: 6:45 - 7:45pm

Fra Beecher (United Models Life Drawing CIC) and Anastasia Dahl will be facilitating a movement and life drawing workshop before the film screening. Inspired by themes, scenes and relationships explored within the film, attendees will be invited to take part in some collaborative drawing exercises and light movements. No drawing or dance experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

Film Screening: 8:00 - 9:30pm

Our lovably awkward protagonist Frances Ha (played by Greta Gerwig) moves to New York to pursue a career in dance, but gets caught up in the reality of adult life. What follows is a film full of ups and downs as Frances goes on a journey of self-discovery.
