Intro to Calisthenics at St Anne's Rd, Brislington, Bristol BS4 4AB
See event details

A event on Saturday 23rd May. The event starts at 11:00.

Calisthenics is an amazing way to build strength, coordination and balance using full body movements or holds.

So why not try a 2 hour, beginner-friendly introduction to bodyweight training where we will explore equipment such as gymnastic rings and paralettes as well as ground based skills, all with regressions and progressions so you can work at the level that is right for you.

We will conclude the workshop with a body conditioning  circuit and a cool down and stretch out.

Wear comfortable clothes you are happy to move in and (perhaps) be upside down in.

Bring a drink and snack to keep you going.

This workshop will be coached by Rebecca.

Rebecca is a fitness coach and 500+ hour yoga teacher with a background in circus and a love of calisthenics.

She strives to offer a relaxed and welcoming space to support you in developing and maintaining physical and mental health within a unique, member owned, inclusive community at Bristol Cooperative Gym.

Join Rebecca in class or work with her 1-1.
