Dreaming with Animals at St Annes Church Hall, Eastville
See event details

A event on Friday 14th June. The event starts at 18:30.

• Do you sometimes dream with animals?
• Do some animals appear more than others?
• Beautiful or scary? Or both?
• Are you curious about what these dreams might signify?
• Would you like to heal or deepen your relationship
with these creatures?
• What does it mean to have a ‘power animal’?

14-15 June 2024, Eastville, Bristol

In this 2-day workshop we will explore the psychological and magical aspects of animal archetypes and spirits, using structured dream sharing, dream dialogue with masks, movement, and ‘shamanic journeying’ to a drum. We will investigate the symbolism ascribed to our dreamed animals across various cultural traditions, and be alive to the messages our dreaming brings us when these animals appear.

The facilitator: Alex Heron is an experienced teacher and trainer who has been studying dreaming in its many guises for over 30 years and has run dreamwork courses internationally for 6 years.

NB this is not a residential course. Friday evening we will go home to sleep, and dream, then reconvene on the Saturday morning to continue our explorations.

Friday 14th June 18.30 – 21.30
Saturday 15th June 10.00 – 18.30
