Komposa at St George's Bristol

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Saturday 15th February. The event starts at 13:30.

The logistics and musical content were first orchestrated by London born artist Karl “Komposa”, alongside Liverpool’s own “Jack Llorrac”. They combine their influences in Grime, Hip Hop, Funk and Soul, with their personal experiences inside and outside of music. After recruiting Devon born singer song writer “Samuel Wulf” on Bass duty, (once they’d eventually met at Football), it was only a step later that, the versatile and highly effective drummer, “Jack Hamilton” was grafted in; who had previously relocated from Worcestershire to West Country in search of a project to indulge in.

Artistically they share a common appreciation for music made with soul. Originating from various musical backgrounds, the final product contains substantial lyrics both sung and rapped over funk driven, organic grooves and riffs. Partnering addictive catchy bass lines and neck breaking, hip-shaking drums patterns, “inhibition” have taken inspiration from the most relevant heights of music and are both representing and reinventing to provide: timeless, soulful and honest Music.
