See event details

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Saturday 7th December. The event starts at 19:30.

The rollicking overture to Colas Breugnon by Kabalevsky raises the curtain on this winter-warmer concert of Anglo-Russian greats.

Renowned cellist Matthew Barley makes a welcome return to play Walton's lyrical, expressive and ravishingly beautiful Cello Concerto.

To finish, a true classic in Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, overflowing with drama, sweeping melodies and emotional intensity from the very opening bars right through to the triumphant rollercoaster finale.

There will be a retiring collection for Bristol Music Trust.

Tickets £15, £12, £8 (concessions £2 discount), children £1 are available online at www.bristolconcertorchestra.org.uk
