REMAINING TICKETS via St Georges Website (allocated seating) https://www.stgeorgesbristol.co.uk/event/jon-hopkins/ FRONT 3 ROWS sold out via Headfirst (unallocated seating in front 3 rows) Polarity Tour : Jon Hopkins (live) SHOW 1 Doors :17.30 SHOW 2 Doors: 20.30 Following his sold-out performance in Bath just before lock down year, it is with great pleasure that we announce that Jon Hopkins will be returning to the South West to present Polarity at St Georges, Bristol. Polarity traverses different musical territory to Hopkins' previous work, tethering together “the two disparate elements of harshness and fragility in [his] music,” and utilising seated venues for a more meditative and wider-ranging experience. The performance will see him playing grand piano for parts of the show, where he will be joined on stage by a small group of consummate musicians and long-time friends: acclaimed producer and guitarist Leo Abrahams, violinist and arranger Emma Smith and cellist Laura Moody. Please note this is a seated performance.
