IMS Prussia Cove is one of classical music’s most respected institutions, with renowned cellist Steven Isserlis as Artistic Director and many of the world’s greatest performers among the organisation’s alumni. In January, a select group of IMS musicians are coming from across Europe and the USA to St George’s, Bristol, to perform works by Beethoven and Mozart as a small string orchestra of 16 players. This special concert is in memory of IMS’s founder, the legendary Hungarian violinist Sándor Végh.
