Armistice 100 - Eternal Light at St George's
Tickets priced from £10 - £26

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Saturday 10th November. The event starts at 19:30.

Howard Goodall’s Eternal Light: A Requiem, is a poignant interweaving of poetry and prayer for the departed. This is paired with Frank Bridge’s elegiac Suite for Strings and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs, a setting for baritone and choir of spiritual texts by seventeenth-century poet and priest George Herbert, culminating in the triumphant hymn of praise ‘Let all the world in every corner sing’.
