Join three nationally acclaimed poets Pascale Petit, Fran Lock and Susie Wilson as they each respond to the theme of wild animals and nature. Hosted by Vanessa Kisuule.

Pascale Petit’s ninth poetry collection, Beast, published by Bloodaxe in 2025, is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Her eighth, Tiger Girl, was shortlisted for the Forward Prize. She has published seven earlier poetry collections, four of which were shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize.

Fran Lock is the author of fourteen poetry collections including Hyena! (Poetry Bus Press, 2023), shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize 2023 and the PEN Heaney Prize 2024. Vulgar Errors/ Feral Subjects, a collection of lyric essays exploring feral subjectivity through the lens of the medieval bestiary was published by Out-Spoken Press late last year.

Half poet, half tutor, half clown, Susie Wilson's a Scottish Sheffield auDHD poet. Her melanoma pamphlet, Nowhere Near As Safe As A Snake In Bed (Verve), won the Disabled Poets Prize 2024. Skin The Rabbit (The Braag), about growing up ‘strange’, launches at Lyra.
