Queer Poetry Bristol - September Book Club

Welcome in the autumn with Queer Poetry Bristol at our September Book Club, where we are discussing Tongues of Fire by Seán Hewitt: a collection of lyric poetry that gracefully wields images of nature to explore themes of sexuality, grief and the human body.

Queer Poetry Bristol is a community for queer voices to discuss, share and engage with all things poetry. People new to poetry are very welcome, and there is no pressure to have finished the book entirely, as poems will be read by the group during the discussion. If you only manage to squeeze in a few pages on the bus to the venue, that's not a problem! If you are no longer able to attend, please return your ticket and let us know so that we can try to fill the spot.
