Improv workshop with Will Gawned

Join Will Gawned in a gentle improv workshop focused on core improv skills - playfulness, collaboration, and connection.

Improvisation is spontaneous collaborative play. No need to be funny, interesting, or original, simply bring yourself and an aim to delight your fellow humans.

Will is an experienced improv instructor of the former Bristol Improv Theatre, and performer with This Is Your Musical, and Tales From The Wasteland:

"I thoroughly recommend doing an improv course with Will. It far exceeded my expectations and brought joy and laughter to my week. It wasn't only fun but Will's welcoming and no-pressure approach to improv made it feel inclusive and helped everyone's confidence to grow. I'd love to do more!" - Anna (student)

"Will brings a boundless energy to his teaching which instantly invites participants to jump up and join in! He is also highly skilled at reading a room, allowing space for students to process or observe when necessary. Will’s sessions are informed by a wealth of experience but he is always ready to pivot and try something new at a moment’s notice." - Anna (teacher - a different Anna, I promise!)

"Will led two workshops with our research team, centred on creative thinking and teamwork. Although some team members were initially apprehensive, he immediately put everyone at ease and created a fun, supportive atmosphere. The sessions were engaging and enjoyable, helping to build new connections, spark fresh ways of thinking, and generate ideas for working more effectively together." - Liv (researcher)
