Silky Disturbance EP Launch 'Universe Screams' at St John's Church Crypt
See event details

A gig on Thursday 17th October. The event starts at 19:30.

Glitch-witch folk act Silky Disturbance combines complex drum design, low end texture, ethereal vocals and cinematic sound to take the listener to a cabalistic dream, celebrating the oracular feminine which delicately pushes up against a tender shadow of darkness. She will be showcasing her most recent EP looking at the raw and vulnerable matters of the heart, spilling confessions that cut deep, navigating the jagged edges of loss and longing.

Silky will be supported by artist Motherbull who creates a chaotic sanctuary of untamed sound, sprawling their labyrinth waves out from the heart of the beast, rebelling against the sterile confines of conventional sound.

The night will culminate with a special DJ set from local creatrix Lupa, transporting the audience into a lush, dreamlike landscape where nature and music intertwine.
