Chordalities at St Mary Redcliffe Church
Event Cancelled

A gig on Saturday 25th April. The event starts at 15:00.

An afternoon of deep and focussed listening at St Mary Redcliffe, as Stockholm-based artist Ellen Arkbro presents an exclusive performance of her work ‘Chordalities’ on the church’s impressive Harrison & Harrison organ

Orginally written for the composer Hampus Lindwall to perform at St Mary’s Church in Walthamstow, London in June 2019, this will be the first time ‘Chordalities’ has been performed by Arkbro herself. Of the piece she says ‘This sound is meant to be experienced as one solitary object, periodically shifting from without, while remaining unchangingly solid within’.
