Contact Improvisation: Falling together - 10 week closed group course at St Michaels Hall

A event on Tuesday 14th October. The event starts at 18:30.

This 10-week journey is designed for movers with some experience in Contact Improvisation. Together, we’ll explore the body, weight-sharing, falling, lifts and ensemble scores. There will be plenty of partner and solo material, jamming time, reflection of challenges and break throughs.
If you’re newer but feel strongly drawn, reach out — we’ll see if it’s the right fit.
By committing to the block, we create trust and safety to go further. We propose a minimum commitment of 60% attendance (6 classes), with the option to add extra sessions as drop-ins if you’re able to join more.

Course Structure
Each fortnight we’ll focus on a theme and learning aims which will be shared soon:
Weeks 1–2: Pedestrian Body-Mind

Weeks 3–4: Earth Work

Weeks 5–6: Gravitational Pull

Weeks 7–8: Falling Upwards

Weeks 9–10: Creating Together

Contribution
Early Bird (until Sept 25):
60% attendance (6 classes): £42

80% attendance (8 classes): £56

100% attendance (10 classes): £70

After Sept 25:
60% attendance (6 classes): £65

80% attendance (8 classes): £80

We have decided on very affordable prices, but if the cost is still an obstacle for you to attend, please get in touch.
Feel free to add a donation when buying your ticket if you would like to support us and have the means.
Disclaimer: If we do not sell enough block tickets for a closed group, the course will be opened for drop-ins.
