In Accord choir and Bronwen Stephens-Harding, mezzo-soprano (www.rogueopera.co.uk) present 'Serenades, Laments and Celebrations' - a vision of collaborative musical moments centred around the magic of the Opera!
Accompanied by a hand-picked group of wonderful string and woodwind players, and featuring Guy Murgatroyd on piano, our programme seeks to show how choir and soloist can intertwine, and also shine individually, as well as to share an emotional journey from Renaissance to Romantic.
This will include works by: Monteverdi, Purcell, Handel, Mozart, Schubert, Ravel, Debussy and Bizet, as well as a surprise or two along the way...
