Free

A event on Wednesday 11th February. The event starts at 11:00.

11-21 February 11-3pm (closed on Sundays) St Nicholas Market is stepping into the spotlight this February as ‘Ready, Steady….Play!’ invites Bristolians to play, explore, and help shape the future of the city’s most iconic market. This retro‑inspired pop‑up brings a burst of TV gameshow fun to the market, turning visitors into contestants in imagining what comes next for St Nicks. Across a series of playful activities and games, you will be invited to share what you think about different parts of the market. You can take part in quickfire questions or dive deeper by embarking on quests to explore the market, uncover hidden gems, and share your favourite discoveries. With creative activities and crafting on offer too, it's a perfect family-friendly stop during half term. Insights gathered by Play:Disrupt will help inform a future vision for St Nicholas Market, ensuring the voices of local people and visitors are central to shape its next chapter. First opened in 1743, St Nicholas Market remains a vibrant part of Bristol’s heritage, home to more than 60 independent traders offering clothing, crafts, antiques, comics, toys, and an array of delicious food from around the world. __________________________________________________________________________ About Play:Disrupt Play:Disrupt is a creative engagement studio based in Easton, Bristol.
