See event details

A event on Tuesday 16th September. The event starts at 18:30.

Bristol Apartheid Free Zone (BAFZ) are running a free doorknocking training event to help you learn how to get active in your local area in support of Palestine.

BAFZ are a local community-led boycott campaign building a city-wide boycott of Israel fresh produce in support of a free Palestine. This is being achieved by knocking every door in the city and asking people to sign our pledge!

Having started in St Paul's and Easton last year the campaign has spread all over the city with active doorknocking groups in St Werburghs, Montpellier, Bedminster, St George, Windmill Hill, Eastville and more.
BAFZ also hold regular stalls at community events, festivals and more where they engage with the public and help to spread the word about the mass boycott of Israel that is being built

Over 4000 people and 70 shops have already signed on to support the campaign.

With a doorknocking strategy inspired by the work of the tenant Union ACORN, come and learn from BAFZ how to get active in your community to build a mass movement for a free Palestine

This event is recommended for those new to the campaign and those already involved who would like to learn the principles and plans behind how we have grown BAFZ. We will be teaching the fundamentals of our doorknocking strategy and how to engage people at stalls.

Entry requirements: participants will need to be 18+ but if you have children you need to bring along due to childcare then please feel free to do so

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
