BS3 Jammin' Community Harvest at St Paul's Church, Coronation Road, Bristol, BS3 1AS

A event on Sunday 20th September. The event starts at 13:00.

BS3 Jammin' is an annual community harvest celebration that brings people together to make the most of Bristol's abundance of locally grown food. Residents donate surplus fruit, vegetables and other home-grown produce, which is then transformed into delicious jams, chutneys, juices, preserves and meals throughout the weekend. By rescuing food that might otherwise go to waste, BS3 Jammin' helps promote sustainable living while raising funds for the BS3 Community Food Bank.

Throughout the event, volunteer chefs lead interactive cooking demonstrations and workshops, giving visitors the chance to get involved, learn new skills and help prepare food. Past chefs have included Mark Chapman from Cor Restaurant, Elliott and Tessa Lidstone from BOX-E, MasterChef contestant Woei Lee, and Bill Bennett Clark from Bristol City College.

There's something for all ages to enjoy, including apple pressing, preserving workshops, arts and crafts, an educational composting stall, and our unique Pick Your Own (PYO) Map, which helps people discover what edible produce is growing across the city. Visitors can also take part in the popular cooking competition, where the only rule is to create a dish using something from the harvest.

Whether you're a keen cook, gardener, food lover, volunteer, or simply curious, BS3 Jammin' is a fun, welcoming and hands-on community event that celebrates good food, reduces waste and brings people together.
