Dan Pollard: 'Voices of the Avon Tideway' 12-hour sound installation

Dan Pollard: 'Voices of the Avon Tideway' 12-hour sound installation at St Philip's Footbridge

An event on Sunday 20th September. The event starts at 06:00.

Artist Dan Pollard’s 'Voices of the Avon Tideway' brings together field recordings from the Avon, the resonances of St Philip’s footbridge and voices recorded with the 80-strong Tideway Choir at St Mary Redcliffe Church. These sounds are now being shaped into a 12-hour installation spanning a full tidal cycle.

From low tide to high tide and back again, the compositions will play through the architecture of St Philip’s footbridge, amplifying and resonating along the tidal river valley.

Join us at St Philip's Footbridge on Sunday 20th September, 6am – 6pm
