The Island Folk Choir is Bristol’s longest-running community folk choir. They sing traditional songs inspired by nature, the land and social justice – from protest songs and lovers' laments to foot-stomping sea shanties. Retelling stories from the past to ground ourselves in the present, they sing of everything it means to be human – and has ever meant.

Heartwood Chorus sing new interpretations of songs whose murky origins stretch back centuries and centuries, songs their grannies taught them and modern classics from the thriving contemporary folk scene. They have been wowing audiences since they got together in 2020, building a reputation on the Bristol folk scene for high quality performances

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
