See event details

A event on Monday 21st August. The event starts at 19:00.

Join us for an exhilarating West African Dance Class with Fernanda Varón!
Get ready to move your body to the infectious rhythms of West Africa and experience this vibrant culture with your own senses.

WELLBEING
We use the body as a vehicle for both individual and collective well-being. The class will begin with joint and muscular warm-ups, followed by invigorating cardiovascular movements performed to the rhythm of live music.

COLLECTIVE EXPERIENCE
Throughout the session, we take inspiration from the traditional contexts and uses of West African rhythms and dances, traditionally performed by both women and men. As you dance, you'll not only find joy in the movement but also feel energized and connected with others around you.

EMPOWERMENT
As the class draws to a close, we'll guide you through appropriate stretches tailored to your age and specific needs. This will enhance the strength and harmony of your physical and emotional structures, leaving you feeling invigorated and empowered.

EVERYONE WELCOME
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just beginning your dance journey, this class is open to all levels of experience. Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with the cultural roots and vibrant rhythms of Africa in a joyful and inclusive environment.

Book your spot now and let the rhythm of West Africa move your soul!
