A event on Sunday 12th July. The event starts at 14:00.
Bristol Japanese Culture Showcase (BJCS) presents a calligraphy workshop hosted by Reina in the beautiful community space St Werburghs City Farm.
Each session is 40 mins long and you can take away your calligraphy artwork at the end.
The workshop takes place in the building at the top of the Farm. Come in through the main Farm entrance.
We recommend wearing clothing you don't mind getting ink on, just in case!
Booking is required to take part in the calligraphy workshop. Tickets are 'pay what you can' with a recommended donation of £7 to those who can afford it, to help cover the cost of materials.
This workshop is for ages 17 and older. We ask that anyone under 18 is accompanied by an adult (21+).
BJCS is also hosting a free, drop-in origami and tanabata wish-writing activity on the courtyard of the Farm for younger children and families to enjoy.
Visitors can also enjoy the Farm's famous café, the local pub, viewing the city farm's livestock and taking a walk in the local walking paths such as Narroways.
There will be photography at this event.
