Kids are invited to create their very own finger puppet, using craft, story, song and sound to learn about local history and folklore- Ending with a final show for the whole family to enjoy. Learn new skills, make new friends, and connect to local community and culture.
All materials are provided
Children aged 3-6 can attend accompanied by an adult
Children aged 7-12 can remain on their own

Tales from the Riverbed are a community arts collective raising awareness of seas, rivers and tides. Using reclaimed and recycled materials to tell stories from the deep, we bring young people's imaginations alive, connecting communities through craft, culture and creativity.

Liam is a children's book author and illustrator whose passion for activating children's imaginations is the driving force behind the multi sensory sessions he has run with local community centres and festivals alike.

Flora is a Community Arts Facilitator with a passion for the power of creativity to engineer social change.
With over 10 years experience working with a diverse range of children and young people, her practice is guided by care & appreciation for young people's creativity.
Recent work includes Creative Direction on ICFCC Community Mural, facilitation on Music and Arts Programmes at Knowle West Media Centre, Event Production and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion facilitation with young people for CIC Critical Engagement.
