Facilitation Training at St Werburghs Community Centre
Pay what you can

A event held at St Werburghs Community Centre on Saturday 14th March. The event starts at 10:00.

Resist + Renew run sliding scale workshops to support grassroots groups and social movements to face the challenges of a world on fire. We hope this one day facilitation training equips more folks to feel ready and confident to facilitate meetings - so we can be more effective and maybe even have a little fun along the way. We’ll look at: * What we’re aiming for, and trying to avoid, in our meetings * The role of a facilitator and practising facilitation skills * The different purposes for different meetings, and building agendas that meet those needs. * How to make space for disagreement to support good decision-making * Building a facilitation toolkit Our focus will be on skills to support day to day, regular and one off meetings in campaign and community groups. Costs We're offering this training for free but welcome and encourage a sliding scale contribution where possible, from £5 to £100. Access There is step free access throughout the venue.
