Join us to reflect, connect and learn from others from different generations in the LGBTQ+ community as we explore the lives and experiences of lesbians during the 1970s, 80s, and 90s.
Led by older lesbians who lived through these pivotal decades, we will start with a presentation on lesbian history, covering what life was like for lesbians at the time, from community organising, resistance, to everyday life.
After the presentation we will open the floor up for a group discussion. This will be an opportunity for both younger and older generations to share insights and compare experiences.
* Please note that this event is open to individuals who identify as women and non-binary people who feel this event will benefit them
