Teeny Tiny Fusion at St Werburgs City Farm
See event details

A event on Sunday 16th November. The event starts at 15:00.

Escape those chilly Sunday evenings and step into the cozy embrace of Tiny Fusion to dance, connect, and recharge. We’re here to blend movement and community, in an atmosphere that’s low-pressure and welcoming.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to shake off the week’s stress, these evenings are about embracing joy and creativity. Come as you are, let the music inspire you, and find your rhythm in a supportive environment. We hope you’ll leave feeling warmed and ready for the week ahead, with plenty of time to snuggle up early at home.

Let’s make this winter a little brighter together.

MAKE IT TEENY-TINY: MICRO CLASS WITH GENNA

For our first installment of the winter series, we'll kick off with a introduction to micro with Genna. Micro is very small dancing. It's all about sharing tiny movements in your body and connecting deeply with a partner - perfect for some cosy dances on a gloomy night.

THE EVENING

We're kicking off at St Werburgh's City Farm. Their community building is a cosy little hall, with beautiful exposed wood framing and a wooden dancefloor.

3pm - 4pm: workshop with Genna
4pm - 7pm: tiny fusion party

When we say tiny, we mean TINY. These events have extremely limited tickets and will sell out, so grab them quick when we go on sale in October.

TIX ON SALE 16TH OCTOBER

We're releasing tickets at 6pm on the 16th October - one month before - so set your reminders now.

GETTING THERE

The community building can be accessed from the east side of Watercress Road, across the road from the city farm’s main entrance; go through the wooden gate and then through the door directly ahead.

ACCESS

The community building is accessed via a flat, paved path. The building's main entrance has a small step, but it has a second, accessible entrance with a step-free door. There is a small step up to the toilet inside the community building, but there are fully accessible and step-free toilets across the road on the main city farm site.

BROKE?

We offer sliding scale tickets wherever possible. With such a tiny event, our capacity to offer subsidies is limited but if you can’t afford a ticket and want to come dancing email [email protected] with “Tiny Fusion” in the subject line and we’ll try to help.

So you know, with such a small event, we have had to limit the number of low-income tickets.

DANCE HAS NO GENDER

In fusion we...

...don't assume what role you take in the dance; whether you lead, follow or switch is up to you and your partner
...welcome everyone, embracing queerness and all types of bodies
...feel free to ask anyone to dance, and are okay hearing and saying no sometimes
...check-in with our partner about what kind of dance they would like, including whether they feel happy with close embrace or being dipped

Entry requirements: 18+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
