We're going to have a free music festival on saturday the 30th of june to celebrate the sun and all things hot. So in keeping with that we've got some of the hottest bands in Bristol to keep you company along with the cider, ale and BBQ. Line up is as follows:
5 Piece Band from Bristol. With influences ranging from The Cramps, Mclusky, The Sonics, Refused and The Stooges. T.S.P.S.I combine Strut, energy, sarcasm, and a healthy helping of filth to create a unique blend of Punk/Garage/Alt/ Rock.
Forgery Lit is a four piece guitar band that was formed by Ami Amp and Gareth Jones in October 2010 in Bristol, United Kingdom.
Forgery Lit spent alot of time reahearsing in a shed somewhere in Bristol, and finally in November 2011 they recorded their first album"Upintake" which will be released in the near future.
Memoirs of a Magician are a young, upcoming UK 3-piece Indie/ Alternative band that formed through the Access to Music institute in Bristol. This hardworking band brought their unique sound to the venues of Bristol with energetic performances like no other. Influenced by other talented UK artists such as Foals, Arctic Monkeys, and Enter Shikari, the band can be recognised by their catchy choruses, intricate rhythms and dynamic changes.
MOAM released their debut EP and single with the same title, 'Live for Today' in 2011, alongside their video for the single'Live for Today', filmed and edited by Alistair Johnstone. MOAM are now working on their exciting new album and are soon to be releasing two new singles'Troy' and'Formula', make sure you don't miss them!
Armchair Committee's sound is a melting pot of hooky vocals, unique song-structures, fertile soundscapes and shifts in tempo and time signature. With their streamlined concoction of the raw blues of Black Keys and the cinematic rock of Muse, they create a sound that is as compelling as it is individual.
Lonely Tourist is a Bristol based Glaswegian who plays upbeat, wordy, strummy, indie-folk songs. He released his debut album'Sir I Am A Good Man' in Jan 2011 to some excellent reviews. The first single from the album'Patron Saint Procrastinate' received plays on BBC Radio 2 and 6music. This year he has played Wychwood Festival, Rockness and supported Pete Doherty.

Sam Whitlock is a singer/songwriter from Bristol, England. His music is an acoustic blend of dark melancholic folk combined with raucous country blues.
