Kickboy, 2:19 Special, Viduals at Star and Dove

A gig on Saturday 27th June. The event starts at 20:15.

Come and join Alien Avian for their second gig at The Star And Dove, following our huge first night last month!

WITH US ON THIS EVENING…

Kickboy

Born in our very own Bristol and now based in South-London, Kickboy are our wonderful headliners for the night. Self described as ‘milk-punk’, the band’s sound is a cocktail of all sorts of punk, sometimes chaotic, sometimes melodic, always a lot of fun. New single ‘Scared Of Needles’ is one of our favourite new tracks and we can’t wait to hear it live. FFO: Crack Cloud, Alien Chicks, Welly.

2:19 Special

Making their way up from Falmouth are 2:19 Special, the duo made up of Mark Arend and

Vicky Gilbert. Their sound is always submerged in a thick smoke, fitting right in to the walls of The Star And Dove pub. So far, their released singles have swayed from scuzzy blues rock to spacey dream pop. FFO: Cindy Lee, The Black Keys.

Viduals

Swindon band Viduals are the newest addition to our lineup and we can’t wait to get them down to Bristol again. Their tracks are catchy, fuzzy and nostalgic, influenced by 2000s indie rock and pop punk while always keeping their own character. FFO: Bloc Party, Wunderhorse, Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Entry requirements: 18+
