The Mothership returns!

Closing off the human summer with a healthy dosage of doom and psych to bring you all comfortably into the approaching autumn. We've beamed these three acts up from across the South West, shown them the ways of the avian and are dropping them down in the Star and Dove, Totterdown, to spread the holy word!

Phantom Droid are an experimental Doom & Psychedelic sludge duo from the south west of England. Collapsing the boundaries of music with low tunings and hypnotic rhythms. long live the droid!! Long Live the Alien Avian!!

TØKER emerged last year having been freed from their ten million year slumber locked in the vaults of the Cornish Bank. Hailing from the furthest reaches of South West Cornwall. Thick guitar tones and slow, crushing riffs hark back to the ancient times of whence they came.

BigByrd being the only band of the night to complete their transformation from human to bird bring a unique blend of heavy psychedelic groove and post punk.
