FLUMP @ THE STAR & DOVE
75-78 St Luke's Rd, Totterdown, Bristol BS3 4RY
FLUMP
- FLUMP are a four piece indie-punk band from Bristol. Dance hip-to-hip, sing along, or descend into chaos as songs weave between the thoughtful and the unhinged. With tales of humour and heartbreak, FLUMP combine catchy hooks, aggressive outbursts and emotive storytelling with a soft, cheeky charm.
"I saw FLUMP supporting YNYS back in February this year where I described them as “a collision of youthful energy and wry humour”. Their woozy, tuneful, indie sound had a spark that I felt could take them a long way. With only two previous releases, ‘Thick Like Glue’ and ‘After Dark’, Sometimes But Not For Long is their first EP release. The band are Zakkiah Tippett on rhythm guitar and vocals, Will Cracknell on lead guitar and backing vocals, Gavin Jones on drums, and Dylan Clayton on bass." - JOYZINE REVIEW
