HALLOWEEN community day & FIREWORKS AT THE PARK

 FANCY DRESS!

Saturday 31< sup>st< /sup> October 3pm – 9.30pm

Albany Green.

After taking a year off, we’re delighted to be bringing back our FREE community Fire display event this year — and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!
It’s a day for families, friends and the whole community to come together, have some fun and enjoy a fantastic atmosphere.
There’ll be live music, recorded music and DJs, plus plenty of food and drink, including burgers, chips, hot dogs, toffee apples, candy floss and a kids’ bar. We’ll also have raffles, lucky dips, free sparklers for the little ones (with a parent/guardian’s consent and supervision) and, of course, the highlight of the evening — our spectacular FIREWORK DISPLAY!

It’s a wonderful opportunity to get together, catch up with neighbours and friends, share a few stories and enjoy a real sense of community. And, as always, it’s especially lovely seeing the children enjoying themselves. FREE EVENT — BUT PLEASE GET YOUR TICKET
Although the event is completely free, everyone attending must have a ticket.
This isn’t about charging for entry — the tickets allow us to monitor and control the number of people in the park and help us manage the event safely.
So please make sure you book your free ticket in advance, even if you don't intend to make a donation.

❤ WE’RE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP
Although entry to the event remains completely free, putting on an event of this size is anything but free.

Over the years, the costs involved in running the day and he firework display have increased considerably. There are substantial costs for the fireworks themselves, park and council fees, road closures, advance signage, security, stewards, toilets, fencing, signage, insurance, equipment, staffing, cleaning and waste removal, as well as the many other expenses involved in safely putting on an event for a large crowd.

For the last couple of years, these costs have become increasingly difficult for us to absorb ourselves.

So, this year, we are very politely asking anyone who is able to contribute towards the event, when booking their free ticket(s).
There is absolutely no obligation to donate, and we completely understand that not every in a position to do so.

Whatever you can afford — large or small — will be genuinely appreciated and will help us keep this event free for the whole community. PLEASE SUPPORT US ON THE DAY
Another really important way you can help is simply by buying your food and drinks from us on the day.
Our bars and food stalls will be available throughout the event, with reasonably priced food and drinks, and every purchase you make helps us towards the considerable cost of putting on the event.
So, if you’re coming along, please come hungry, come thirsty and spend with us if you can! ❤ And importantly, please bring your joy, spirit. humour and friendship to the park.

We’re incredibly proud to be able to put this event on for the community, but we need your support to make sure we can continue doing it in the future.
If everyone who can gives a little, and supports the bars and food stalls, together we can keep this fantastic community event alive. Saturday 31st October — Halloween FREE ENTRY — TICKET REQUIRED
