We are ravenously excited to welcome Rebecca May Johnson to Storysmith! Small Fires was officially one of our favourite books of 2022, and so when the paperback release came around we knew we had to get Rebecca to Bristol so we can obsessively talk about tomato sauce and ennui.
Equally excitingly, Rebecca will be in conversation with Amy Key, poet and writer of the phenomenally good memoir Arrangements in Blue. Desperately trying to avoid using food-based comparisons here, but with ingredients this distinguished you can be certain of a delectable evening of conversation.

Amy Key is a poet and writer based in London. She is the author of two collections of poetry, Luxe (Salt, 2013) and Isn’t Forever (Bloodaxe, 2018). Her first work of non-fiction, Arrangements in Blue, was published by Jonathan Cape (UK) in Spring 2023, alongside publication in the US (Liveright) and Italy (Rizzoli).
