Bristol legend who has reached international acclaim in the roots and dub music scene as one half of Dubkasm. Also a founder of Bristol’s premier sound system night Teachings in Dub.
~ Sasha Steppa
Another local favourite and founder of Bristol’s first female powered Sound System. Sasha is an established DJ in her own right, regularly performing around the UK and Europe.
~ Bingyi Empress
Empress has looked after the infamous Kuumba Centre for many years, and during the 80’s and early 90’s was part of female collective Kush promotions that used to book the likes of Jah Shaka and Aba Shanti-I. Expect heavyweight selections from a veteran of the scene.
