Last O.S.T. for the time being – thank you to everyone who danced, played, and supported over the past few months. Its felt real emotional to enjoy music in this way after so long. Anyone close to me knows how much I love Black Merlin’s music – so this is proper exciting. At a time where underground culture has been increasingly homogenised and commodified, George’s music and DJ sets have continued to push boundaries and dancefloors. Refusing to conform to any strict genre codes while maintaining a unique sonic aesthetic, Black Merlin has released on taste making labels like Berceuse Heroique, Offen, and Pinkman, among others. Alongside this, George has been making some of the most distinct field recordings of recent years. Kosua and Hipnotik Tradisi are, hands down, two deep listening albums everyone should check. Out front we also have Cardiff basement cult Teak. For the past 8 years they have been behind one of the best DIY parties in the UK. No exaggeration, O.S.T. would not be here without Teak, so I hope everyone can enjoy this kru.

Out back, Nice Strangers and Andy Mac will be extending the triip. Silvia is behind the amazing Sagome labels and deep listening parties in London. Just off the back of her ‘Onirica’ project which explores the auditory impressions that people experience while dreaming, expect hybrid soundscapes all night. Local legend Andy is easily one of the best DJs in Bristol. With shows on noods and mutant radio, he is constantly inviting listeners into his musical world. Alongside this, the next level ‘First & Last, Sennen’ cassette on a colourful storm was one of the best long listens in 2021, so expect ultra-thoughtful music from Andy all night. I’m gonna try savour this one and play between both rooms for the first time.
