A
clubnight
held at Strange Brew
on Friday 27th February. The event starts at 22:30.
Fresh off the back of one of jungle’s most legendary runs, pushing the sound to new limits, Tim Reaper lands in Bristol for an extended set… leaving no part of his record collection untouched.
With Future Retro on hiatus after hitting 50 era-defining releases, he has been releasing his own music at breakneck speed with two self-released 20 trackers dropping at the end of 2025, exploring a range soundsystem music including dubstep, grime and UK techno sounds. With nods towards the experimental dub sounds of 5 GATE TEMPLE world sitting alongside deconstructed trap… if you haven’t been paying attention you might not have seen it coming.
Tim Reaper has been pushing the envelope in a series of top-draw mixes and releases over the last year, grabbing global attention with his 7.5hr contribution to the landmark RA.1000 series… a chance to peep through the looking glass into solar core of bass music.
On Feb 27, we’re locking off the Brew for an extended set, with Tim Reaper - at the height of his powers - taking us through til close.
Bristol’s Severine (En Masse/Loco Klub/ex-Workshop Radio) has been singling in on the metallic textures and low end alchemy at the forward fold of bass music. Drawing in heady rave influences alongside the broken sounds of techno, dubstep and electro’s heavier side… their sets slickly lull you into deeper drive without compromising on a meditative core.
