Pleasure Gallery w/ Mu Tate & Nexcyia at Strange Brew
See event details

A gig held at Strange Brew on Friday 28th January. The event starts at 19:00.

Pleasure Gallery are delighted to invite you to an evening of live electronic ambient music.

Come and witness metamorphosis - from a sapling on SoundCloud to a bloom at the ‘Brew – as we welcome waveform warpers Mu Tate and Nexcyia to our debut show; a meditative matinee in Bristol’s finest auditorium.

Latvian-born Londoner Mu Tate is the prolific mind behind a vast discography of psychedelic soundscapes. An excursion through esoteric experimentalism and heavenly ambient alike. His LP ‘Let Me Put Myself Together’ is an exploration of an alien rainforest, captured by an iridescent lens and reimagined as hazy, nostalgic soundscapes. His productions and mixes alike are a symbiosis of psychedelic beauty, techno-futurism and sheer human sensuality/experience.

Nexcyia’s sound palette in contrast feels more introspective. The London/Paris based artist traverses the highways of field-recordings and found-sounds, modulating, contorting and churning them into pulps of dystopic realism or euphoric transcendence alike.

This is an unreserved seated gig at Strange Brew Bristol – come and ruminate.
