Thanks to those of you who attended the Love Inn for dance #4 with Softi and Amy Kisnorbo. That was super fun! Friday March 3rd Bubble returns to Strange Brew presenting an upfront and fun mix of bass focused electronic sounds, house, grooves, breaks and more.

We have three selectors on the night and are excited to present our special guest DJ:

Ayesha - (Nowadays - NYC / Kindergarten / Scuffed):

An artist who has really caught our eye and made our ears fizzle this last year, Ayesha is one of the most exciting DJ talents we have stumbled across recently in the ever fast moving scenes of dance music.

Brooklyn-based Ayesha’s DJ sets are a menage of styles, reflecting her playful curiosity as a producer and years spent as a working DJ in Washington DC's club and warehouse party scene. Those years of experience really show when she’s behind the decks, and a combination of her excellent productions and hard work have seen her become a resident at one on NYC’s best clubs: Nowadays.

As a producer, Ayesha's tracks trace an arc across bass, techno and diasporic influences and brings together a love for manipulating found-sounds and a knack for trippy sound design, channeling percussive rhythms and UK soundsystem influences in equal measure resulting in heady, maximal body music tailored for the dancefloor! Ayesha DJs in a riveting modern way, joining the dots and and keeping the energy and the surprise moments at the forefront!

Charlie Stoic:

Opening proceedings on the night we've invited Charlie Stoic along to lay down his unique mix of selections. Seemingly he's one of those people who's got lots of eyes on what's fresh and out there in the world of modern music. In Bristol he is the man behind 'Terrain' and 'Club Stoic' .

Charlie's gonna be opening the night, setting the tone, drifting from the Jazzy and North African sounds of the 'Worm Gig' prior before slipping into his own mix of contemporary dancefloor cuts from Africa, the UK and beyond. Beats and bass to get you loosened up and bubbling!!

Nathan Worm:

Bubble resident and Worm Disco Club wriggler Nathan will be laying down contemporary club cuts, bass, electro, schizoid frenectic 4/4 and dark & heavy UK garage sounds prior to Ayesha.

While many of his sets over the last year have been focused on vinyl and even playing out a lot of classics, Nathan's gonna stick to new fresh n' tasty (crunchy biscuit) bass sounds for this set.

Bubble #5. We are curating Bubble dances to be one of the more groovy, bass-led nights in Bristol. A focus on fun and quality electronic sounds. Eclectic, Body-grooving, booty-moving, 2- stepping, stagga inducing dancefloor delight. We welcome dancers and music lovers of all types!
