“Tears in the Club” king MssingNo’s influence cannot be understated. Since dropping the proto-viral “XE2” back in 2013, his misty-eyed R&B futurism has quietly shaped the sound of today’s underground rap and club music alike; you can hear traces of it everywhere from bladee and Fakemink to US producers like F1lthy (Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty etc).

Rooted in the sound of London pirate radio, MTV Base-era R&B and Timbaland’s futuristic production style, this is emotionally charged club music that combines euphoric dancefloor release with late-night headphone listening. Pitched vocal chops, dreamlike melodies and sharp, stuttering drums over solid walls of bass.
