Príncipe’s DJ Firmeza comes to Strange Brew for a debut show bringing the best of Batida and Kuduro to the future. DJ Firmeza proudly herald's from Quinta do Mocho in the periphery of Lisbon, a social housing bairro home to a diversely disfranchised afro-portuguese and lusophone immigrant community specially know for its OGs Dj Nervoso and Dj Marfox. Firmeza (aka Fifaz) is a revered and unmatchable DJ among the youth culture who live and shape the afrodiasporic post-kuduro ecosystem. Master of a unique percussive-heavy trance-inducing style to the art of mixing, he will set fire to Brew’s main room with his electric and relentless playing style.
King Kami joins the bill for the finishing punch in true futuristic baile fashion. The Brazilian-born dj and producer resides in Lisbon, whew she is a resident at Quantica radio and has played in notable festivals such as Sonar, Primavera Sounds and Horst and is held by many as the best dj in Portugal. Her releases on XXIII and Torcida exemplify what Kami does best as she brings her bag full of tricks to Bristol for her UK debut.
Gus & Szal take over the helm of the spaceship in the early hours to direct the course towards the future.
