As a firm favourite of our Dirtytalk parties and now an annual fixture at Strange Brew, Norway's Sotofett is a DJ and producer we have long heralded as one of the best in the game. Known for his vast knowledge of every corner of the club music spectrum and a seriously slick multi-genre party-style DJing on vinyl. He has also been producing music across house, techno, electro, dub, cosmic disco, ambient and more since 2011 on his imprints Sex Tags Mania / Amfibia & Wania.
His past appearances are now etched in Bristol folklore, first playing 6 hours (+ 5 more) in Take 5 cafe in 2012 - his first of three all-night solo sets (tonight is his fourth). He played B2B with his brother and labelmate Fett Burger in 2013 & 2016, with elder statesman Bjorn Torske in 2015, a whole WEEKEND at Strange Brew in 2021 (including a 6 hour set of his own unreleased productions), a b2b with LNS in 2022 and a first edition of Resonance of Dub on the Qualitex system in 2024.
For 2025 he again plays Bristol's own Qualitex Soundsystem. This time it comes as a double stack with an exclusive stereo-preamp, and Sotofett narrates this night with more than a handful of exclusive self-cut Dubplates, Lovers Rock, Steppers, Dub, and rounding off with a Jungle set (that was sorely missed on last years event). "Resonance of Dub" is a where Dub is beatmixed, and the Dubs & Echos itself are alive and direct, straight for the dancefloor.
