A gig held at Strange Brew on Friday 8th July. The event starts at 19:00.

GOTO presents an evening of electronic entertainment from the light into the darkness...

Alex Tucker's MICROCORPS project brings together modular synthesis, processed vocals and cello. "XMIT", MICROCORPS' debut LP on ALTER, throws forth a mammoth slab of industrial electronics infused with textures drawn from a variety of sources. No stranger to collaboration, Tucker works with the likes of Gazelle Twin, Nik Void, Simon Fisher Turner and Astrud Steehouder across the album's 8 tracks. Make no mistake, MICROCORPS will transmit the "hybrid space" of its inner workings into Strange Brew with full force.

Sinead McMillian produces techno full of light and colour as Surgeons Girl. With EPs released via Livity Sound and Inside Out Records, McMillan demonstrates her talent for tailoring interlocking melodies cut between shifting rhythms. Her live sets explore the fundamental elements of electronic music, taking audiences on a journey through sound, rhythm and structure. Surgeons Girl returns to Strange Brew after recent performances for Bristol New Music and support for Lone.

Intermission audio supplied by GOTO Records residents.
