See event details

A gig held at Strange Brew on Friday 9th December. The event starts at 19:00.

Chicken Picnic are proud to present the Bristol launch night for their new single, ‘Home’.

Based in Bristol and London, Chicken Picnic present a compelling new voice in alternative R&B. The five-piece infuse neo-soul songwriting with the distinct colours of their local jazz scenes. The new single follows their debut, ‘Ocean’, which they released in May.

Support comes from:

SEMPER:
Expect to hear high energy jazz, broken beat, and drum and bass inspired grooves. Between them, SEMPER’s members have played at festivals such as Cross the Tracks, sold out shows across the country, and now gig regularly in Bristol.
FFO Yussef Dayes, Alfa Mist, Robert Glasper, and GoGo Penguin.

TV Milfs:
TV Milfs surfaces from an embryonic state to make their debut performance at Strange Brew this December, formed of some of Bristol's fittest emerging musicians! Enjoy a stripped back set of both covers and originals celebrating the music of women and femmes and centering the nurturing power of harmony, lyricism and euphonious simplicity.
