FORM Presents
BORIS - ‘PINK’ 20TH ANNIVERSARY UK TOUR
+ Planning for Burial
Saturday 10th October, 2026
Bristol, Strange Brew

Doors: 7pm
Curfew: 10pm

Note: This is a separate show to the earlier matinee show with 3pm doors where Boris perform 'Flood'. Both events are ticketed separately.

Boris formed in 1992 and eventually arrived at the band’s current lineup of Takeshi, Wata, and Atsuo in 1996.  In the years since, Boris has tirelessly explored their own rendition of what is heavy through methods entirely their own. Though the depths of their “heaviness” may intensify, their unique musicianship defies classification in any one genre or style, so let’s just call it real “heavy music” in extreme color. Their music has been called a “game changer” regarding the leading edge of the world’s rock scene, and that influence is limitless. They enter realms that cannot be described simply in terms of the “explosive sound” or “thunderous roars” that have become their trademark

With a rich and dynamic back catalogue to their name, there is plenty to choose from when it comes to showing off the extend of Boris’ talent and the depth of their musical prowess. Returning to Bristol on Saturday 10th October, Boris will perform two distinctly different shows at Strange Brew, their evening show is rooted in their PINK album, and the afternoon matinee show is focussed on their expansive and ambitious release, flood.

For over thirty years, Boris have been making considerable ripples in the world of heavy music. From their home country of Japan, into Europe and across the United States and further afield, Atsuo, Wata and Takeshi have made their presence felt. Boris move through different genre streams effortlessly; no two albums are the same. Whether they are embracing post-rock, drone, avant-garde, sludge or psychedelic rock, they approach each offering with absolute dedication and a commitment to experimentalism. The result is an eclectic discography that showcases the trio’s masterful abilities.

PINK is an album that opened them up to a whole new audience upon release in 2005 and gained them many accolades from fans and critics alike. Weaving increased melody into their fuzzy psych rock hit a certain sweet spot that has endured.

Both shows are separately ticketed
